A Secluded Desert Getaway - Acts 8:26-40

However, Philip’s immediate obedience led to a life-changing opportunity that he met head-on. As we step out in obedience, God enables ministry to take place that we could have never planned. Will you obey?

Paul is well aware of this fact. He’s seen far too many people follow each other into destruction. So, the warning is to make sure that our lives are patterned after Christ and His people. We don’t belong on Earth, so don’t get comfortable.

Although there might be a few similarities, if you really examine their lives and their motives, the truth will come out. So…which one are you?

He threw it all away to put his undivided attention on ONE thing: reaching for Jesus Christ. What is your attention on?

Remember: it’s not about their reaction – it’s about your obedience.
