Behind the Scenes - Acts 10
From the series "To the End of the Earth" Acts 10 - Wed, February, 24 2010. The view from the audience is much different than the view from behind the scenes. When you step back stage, you’re able to see how things get put together, how they run, and who’s involved in the finished product. Every day, we have an opportunity to work in coordination with the One who puts everything together and orchestrates everything from behind the scenes. His methods may be unconventional, but they are far-reaching and highly effective. The impossible happens DAILY!

Inside-Out Living - Philippians 4:8-9
From the series "To Live is Christ" - Philippians 4:8-9 Sat, February 20, 2010. Many people try to turn their lives around by changing their actions. Ultimately, a change in actions is what you want to happen, but it begins on the inside and works its way out. Trying to change your behavior without changing your thoughts is like trying to cure pneumonia by taking Nyquil – you’re just treating the symptoms. The symptoms of an uncontrolled thought life are uncontrolled actions. A Godly life begins with Godly actions.

God-Centered Worship - Psalm 95:1-7
A topical study in the book of Psalm - Wed, February 17, 2010. It’s all about ME...or at least that’s what the world tells us. We live in a custom-designed, have it your way, instant gratification world. We want what we want when we want it. That same attitude can carry over into our daily relationship with Jesus and it can even influence the way we worship. We need to go back to God-centered worship where God and His glory are our central theme and focus of our daily lives. It’s not easy to live this way, but it’s always worth it!

Lights, Camera, Actions! - Philippians 4:1-7
From the series "To Live is Christ" - Philippians 4:1-7 -20 Sat, February 13, 2010. We’ve all had bad days before – it happens. Some people seem to be having a bad life, though! As Christians, there’s no excuse for those types of actions. The way we act toward others and toward life in general says a lot about our God. It’s easy to become so self-centered that we become divisive, gloomy, harsh, and worried. None of those actions are necessary in the life of a follower of Christ; in fact, they can be dangerous. Turn your actions around and glorify Christ every day in every way.

Seeing the Big Picture - Acts 9:32-43
From the series "To the End of the Earth" Acts 9:32-43 - Wed, February, 10 2010. Do you remember how frustrated you used to get with those 3D Magic Eye pictures from the 90s? Up close, it looks like a big mess with no meaning. However, when you step back and begin to see the whole picture, you realize there’s meaning to the madness. Life can be the same way. We can get so caught up with our own little world that we forget to be looking for how we can meet other people’s needs. When we begin to see the big picture, we can begin to live life like it’s meant to be lived!

When God and Man Collide - Acts 9:1-31
From the series "To the End of the Earth" Acts 9:1-31 - Wed, February, 3 2010. When there’s a car wreck or some type of disaster, a crowd gathers. We’re obsessed with witnessing the carnage of a collision. In our own lives, a collision that completely flips us upside-down can be a great thing – it was for Saul. He didn’t see this collision coming, nor could he have – it was just his time. As he went about his normal, Christ-hating life, he came face-to-face with his Maker and it rocked his world. What will it take for you and God to collide? It’s the best collision you’ll ever be in!
